VW MK6R Rear Lower Control Arm
9094 Motorsport designed a rear LCA for the MK5/MK6 Golf enthusiasts who demand the most from their car at the track or their local hill climb. The lower arm eliminates the stock spring base for those who have opted for a true rear coilover package, which saves a drastic amount of unsprung weight. Computer-aided drafting was done in-house with an iterative process. Finite element analysis was used throughout to find the right balance of strength, weight, and aesthetics. The arm is machined from 7075 aluminum and is spherically mounted on the chassis side with an Aurora Motorsports rod end for smooth, precise, and solid operation. Hardware and spacers are included in the package: Class 12.9 12-point zinc chromate flange bolts and nuts are used to secure the arm at both ends enabling repeated use, dependability, and doing away with the inconvenience of washers. A high-strength corrosion-resistant jamnut is used to keep the rod end in place, and machined reducer rod end spacers for a snug fit.
Heretic Wheel & Type-1 Hub/Hat
9094's Heretic steering wheel is a modern take on a heritage racing wheel with a gothic twist. The core of the wheel is hard-anodized, black, and the machined sheet of 7075 aluminum is press-formed into its 38mm dish before being age-hardened. The 30mm grip is made up of two layers of shou sugi ban black walnut (outer ring) and white oak (inner ring), which are lightly torched, sanded, and finished with boiled linseed oil. The rings are secured to the core with titanium pins. The faintly finished black walnut and white oak can easily be maintained with the occasional wipe from a cloth and a splash of linseed oil.

The VW Type-1 Front Hub/Hat is designed to be mounted on a standard Beetle spindle with the use of stock Type-1 wheel bearings. Machined from 7075 aluminum and enables the utilization of a Wilwood rotor for increased stopping power, improved heat dissipation, and less rotating unsprung mass. The Hub/Hat comes predrilled and tapped for either 5X120 or 5X130 wheel patterns.
A Chest of Drawers
A minimalist approach with an industrial rustic look to a drawer chest and dresser. Modeled and rendered in Autodesk Fusion 360.
Foundational Projects
In school, I focused on 3D environment art and texturing. The majority of textures I created were from taking my own photos and making the different texture maps in Photoshop and Substance Painter. I drew reference and inspiration from surrounding environments such as a dilapidated warehouse that was across the street from mine and my girlfriend's apartment in San Francisco as well as the bathroom from our apartment, with a little twist, below.
19th & Ortega
I modeled everything from photographic references using Maya and Blender and created the majority of texture maps and materials using photography, Photoshop, and Substance Painter. The final scene was rendered in Unreal Engine and the total poly count is 112,633 triangles.
